The interface allows dealers to ensure that all their transactions and invoices flow from the Ideal dealership management system into QuickBooks automatically, eliminating manual entry, the need to export or import files and other extra work.
Ideal designed this interface for dealers that rely exclusively on QuickBooks for their accounting needs instead of Ideal’s proprietary accounting module. As such, the interface works as a bridge between the two systems.
With this interface, dealers can:
- Automatically send all their Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory journal entries to QuickBooks, as soon as they are posted to Ideal.
- Automatically create bills for their vendors in QuickBooks each time they finalize supplier invoices in Ideal, ensuring faster payments.
- Use Ideal to generate a separate bill in QuickBooks for each floor-planned serialized product, so that all their Accounts Payable information is accounted for.
- Instantly match their General Ledger accounts and vendors in Ideal to those in QuickBooks.
